1. Wildlife & Nature Disclaimer

All safari experiences take place in natural environments where wildlife moves freely. While we provide expert-guided safaris, sightings of specific animals including mountain gorillas and Big Five species cannot be guaranteed. Wildlife behavior is unpredictable and influenced by natural conditions.

2. Health, Fitness & Trekking Requirements

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically fit to participate in safari activities. Gorilla trekking, chimpanzee tracking, and other wildlife encounters may involve walking on uneven terrain, climbing, or hiking at high altitudes. Guests with medical conditions, injuries, or mobility limitations should consult their physician before booking.

3. Cancellation Policy

Standard Cancellation Terms:

  • More than 90 days before departure: Full refund minus a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total safari cost.
  • 89–60 days before departure: 50% of the total safari cost refundable.
  • 59–30 days before departure: 25% of the total safari cost refundable.
  • 29–15 days before departure: 10% of the total safari cost refundable.
  • Less than 14 days before departure: No refund; full safari cost is forfeited.

Gorilla & Chimpanzee Permit Policy:

  • Permits are 100% non-refundable and non-transferable once issued by the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA).
  • Permit costs are included in the safari price and will be deducted from any refundable amount in case of cancellation.

Flight, Charter & Third-Party Services:

  • Any domestic flights, charter services, or third-party suppliers included in the itinerary are subject to their individual cancellation policies.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will depend on the provider’s terms and conditions.

4. Force Majeure / Unforeseen Circumstances

In events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

5. Safari Modifications

Requests to change travel dates, accommodations, or itinerary components must be submitted in writing. All changes are subject to availability and may incur additional costs. Modification fees may apply depending on the timing and nature of the request.

6. No-Show Policy

Failure to arrive on the confirmed safari start date without prior written notice will be considered a no-show and will result in 100% forfeiture of the safari cost.

2. Health, Fitness & Trekking Requirements

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically fit for safari activities. Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking involves hiking through forested and uneven terrain and requires a reasonable level of fitness.

All guests must obtain necessary vaccinations, visas, and travel documentation prior to arrival. Eagle Soul Adventure is not liable for denied entry, medical issues, or missed activities resulting from non-compliance.

3. Travel Insurance Requirement

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all guests. Insurance must cover:

7. Photography & Media Usage

Photographs and videos taken during the safari may be used for promotional and marketing purposes unless a written objection is submitted prior to travel.
