Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking permits are 100% non-refundable and non-transferable once issued by the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) or Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA).
Permit costs are included in the safari price and will be deducted from any refundable amount if cancellation occurs.
Any domestic flights, charter services, or third-party suppliers included in the itinerary are subject to their individual cancellation policies.
Refunds (if applicable) will depend on the provider’s terms and conditions.

While every effort is made to provide excellent wildlife encounters, sightings of specific species—including gorillas, chimpanzees, and Big Five animals cannot be guaranteed, as animal behavior is unpredictable and influenced by seasonal and environmental factors.
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically fit for safari activities. Gorilla and chimpanzee trekking requires hiking through forested, steep, and uneven terrain and a reasonable level of fitness is necessary.
Guests must also obtain all required vaccinations, visas, and travel documentation before arrival. Eagle Soul Adventure is not liable for denied entry, medical issues, or missed activities resulting from non-compliance.
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all guests. It must cover:
