This 7-day Kilimanjaro expedition via the Rongai Route offers a rare opportunity to experience the mountain from its remote northern side, close to the Kenyan border. Unlike other routes, Rongai is quieter, drier, and offers gradual elevation gain, making it ideal for acclimatization and those seeking a more peaceful experience.
With scenic variation across rainforest, heather fields, alpine desert, and glacial summit, this route rewards hikers with both panoramic views and wildlife sightings. The descent follows the Marangu Route, offering a contrasting and lush finish to the journey.
Stay in high-end lodges and tented camps with comfort and stunning views.
