Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), a representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. Settle in at your comfortable lodge, meet your trek leader for a comprehensive briefing and gear check, and get a good night’s rest before the journey begins.

After breakfast, drive to the Marangu Gate where registration formalities are completed. Begin your trek through lush rainforest, alive with tropical birds, blue monkeys, and colobus monkeys. The path is shaded and cool, and you'll gradually ascend to Mandara Hut, your first overnight stop.

Continue ascending through a dramatic shift in vegetation—from rainforest to giant heathers, moorlands, and volcanic rocks. As you climb higher, views of Mawenzi Peak emerge in the distance. Arrive at Horombo Hut, perched on a rocky outcrop, where you’ll rest and prepare for a critical acclimatization day tomorrow.

A vital rest and adjustment day. After breakfast, you can take an optional acclimatization hike towards Mawenzi Ridge (up to ~4,400m). Today’s trek takes you through the alpine desert zone, where vegetation becomes sparse and the air noticeably thinner. Cross the wide Saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks, stopping for a picnic lunch en route. Arrive at Kibo Hut by afternoon, rest, hydrate, and prepare your gear for the midnight summit bid.

Wake around midnight for a warm drink and light snack, then begin your summit push. Climb steadily to Gilman’s Point (5,681m), where you’ll witness the sunrise. Continue along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After brief celebration and photos, descend back to Kibo Hut for brunch, then to Horombo Hut for overnight recovery.

1. Cancellation by the Client
If you wish to cancel your tour, written notification must be provided to Eagle Soul Adventure via email. The following cancellation charges will apply, calculated from the date the written notice is received:
60 days or more before departure: 20% of the total tour cost (deposit is non-refundable).
45–59 days before departure: 30% of the total tour cost.
30–44 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost.
15–29 days before departure: 75% of the total tour cost.
14 days or less before departure: 100% of the total tour cost (no refund).
Please note that no refunds will be issued for no-shows or unused portions of the itinerary once the tour has commenced.
2. Cancellation by Eagle Soul Adventure
In rare circumstances where Eagle Soul Adventure must cancel a tour due to force majeure, unsafe conditions, or insufficient bookings, we will notify you as early as possible. You will have the choice to:

We are not liable for any additional expenses incurred due to tour cancellation, including but not limited to flight changes, visa fees, or travel insurance.
