Marangu Route

8 Day Kilimanjaro Climb via Marangu Route

Kilimanjaro national park

Tour Details

Overview:

Step into history and nature on the Marangu Route, Kilimanjaro’s oldest and most established trail to the Roof of Africa. Known as the "Coca-Cola Route" for its relative ease and comfort, it is the only route that offers dormitory-style mountain huts, complete with beds, mattresses, solar lighting, and shared washrooms—making it an ideal option for climbers seeking shelter from the elements without compromising the sense of adventure.

This extended 8-day version includes an essential acclimatization day at Horombo Hut, significantly improving your chances of reaching the summit safely and comfortably. As you ascend through five distinct ecological zones—from tropical rainforest to the arctic summit zone—you’ll witness the incredible transformation of Kilimanjaro’s landscape while enjoying professional support from certified guides, porters, and cooks.
